Monument of Fighters for freedom of Ukraine

The monument has the form of a conical granite obelisk in height of 15 meters. The obelisk holds an oak-guelder rose wreath with the inscription: "Fighters for freedom of Ukraine."

At the foot - eight boards, which indicated the different periods of Ukrainian struggle for independence - from Kiev Russia today.

At the top of the obelisk a two-meter bronze statue of Archangel Michael is established, the patron saint of soldiers.

The monument to "fighters for freedom of Ukraine" has been designed by the Cherkasy architect Yuri Kalashnyk and famous Ukrainian sculptor Nicholas Bilyk.

Monument of Fighters for freedom of Ukraine was consecrated by Metropolitan Cherkassky and Chigirinsky John UOC Kiev Patriarchate and the priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
