The Church of St. Michael the Archangel was built on the site of an old wooden church in 1905. During the Second World War, the premises of the church were used as a military hospital, retreating in October 1943, the Nazis drove the local population into the temple and wanted to blow up the building together with people. Fortunately, this did not happen.
