The park was created in 1893, by H. Davydov with the draft of a Ukrainian landscape painter I. Padalka. The design involved a well-known expert botanist A. Regel. Park Area is 109 hectares. The park includes the river Bokovenka, Skotuvata beam and a system of picturesque ponds. Five areas of the park recreate in miniature the natural landscape of certain geographical areas. The park includes a collection of 1,000 species of trees and shrubs.
