The museum's exposition is located in a manor, that belonged to the V. Zabolotny's family, where he spent his childhood and adolescence. The house was built in 1911. It is an interesting example of urban architecture, it has an original layout and is a model of the Ukrainian small-town architecture of the beginning of the 20th century.
The exposition contains about 2000 exhibits, which represent the creativity and scientific works of the academician. Here you can find a collection of documents and family photos, a library of rare books, a collection of art works and the works of Ukrainian, Western European and Oriental authors of the XVIII-XX century (paintings, sculpture, glass, porcelain).
