St. Nicholas Church in Pustovoitovka

The five-headed stone church of St. Nicholas was built in 1900-1906 by the project of Poltava architect Nosov in pseudo-Russian style.

In the architecture of the building, the features of the pseudo-Russian style are most clearly seen. The temple has five domes, the outer masonry of the walls is traditionally made of red and yellow brick. There is an adjacent four-tiered belltower located in the western part of the church. The St. Nicholas Church in Pustovoytivka has the right proportions and the most distinct silhouette. You can see all the beauty and uniqueness of the temple during a trip around the Sumy region.

церква вражає своїми незвичними формами віконних арок і взагалі - кількістю куполів. нічого подібного до "стандартних" куполів укр. церков. дуже ефектна архітектура. і однозначно вартує, щоби приїхати - подивитися стан - як і більшість в Україні. занепад, але, що дає надію, із ознаками відновлення.
