Daughter of Nicholas Churilo and Zofia of Lyantskoronsky - Sofia got married to Nicholas Kossakovskyi - that's when in the mid 17 century, Kurylivtsi were transferred to Kossakovskyi family. The next owner of the castle was Katarzyna Kossakovskaya from Potocki family, she owned it before the third division of Rzeczpospolita. After the division of Rzeczpospolita, Kurylivtsi castle was confiscated by the Russian government, and then Catherine gave Kurylivtsi to Komar family. Stanislav Komar was in possession of four towns and 36 settlements with 10,000 patrials. Among all the estates, he chose Kurylivtsi as his future residence. He built a new palace on the foundations of the castle Churilo since restoration was impossible. Preserved stone escarpment of XVI century, bastion castle (including underground vaulted casemates) - from the north, east and south sides. On the west side abstain foundations and remains of the old castle wall.
