«Just as ships were built not to stand in harbours, we were not created to sit in safe places». John C. Maxwell “Dare to dream”
In 2001 I graduated from the high institution with the diploma of English translator and believed I would help people to communicate in the future. However my plans changed, when I went for a 3 days vacation to Prague and understood that I did not know my own city at all..
I was so ashamed that I decided to go for a local tour. Soon I realized that I could not live my life without it.
It required a lot of efforts to change my hobby into profession. However all efforts are worthy of it when I see others to fall in love with Kyiv – the most beautiful and the dearest for me city in the world.
I'll show you
✔We can plunge into history and discover the ancient city: its churches and majestic cathedrals, famous personalities.
✔Let’s descend to Podol - the lower historical part of Kyiv and enjoy the atmosphere of the city, where once people tirelessly traded, loaded and unloaded ships. Nearby, in the 1st high educational institution of the country life had been humming like today.
✔Let’s explore glorious Lavra and learn the history of this ancient monastery, pay tribute to Kyiv-Pechersk saints.
✔We will find all the elements of happiness during my thematic excursion "Happiness in Kyiv: what makes us happy?". Originally I wanted to increase just my own happiness level and now I’m ready to help my guests. They say: you can’t study happiness, but I’m glad to break this tradition.
✔If you believe that dreams come true and set life goals, come and recharge during the tour "11 wishes in Kyiv: dream and act". I’m sure it’ll work out, because our desires appear with the strength for their realisation.
✔If you can’t stand the architectural terms, pass by the houses in the city centre without seeing the facades, find it boring... Visit my tour "Architectural styles for dummies" and we will fix it! I hope you will discover another important side of Kyiv.
